What's a hatelisting?
A hatelisting is a site devoted to listing people all around the world who dislike a certain person, place or thing. Basically, it's the polar opposite of a fanlisting. This particular hatelisting is for people who dislike or loathe Madonna.

Who's Madonna?
To make a long story as short as possible, she's the one who started the whole "flash your crotch as much as possible" phase of pop music. She's the slutty "icon" that daft girls like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton aspire to be like. She sings dorky disco songs but, because she's managed to claw her way to the top all these years and managed to sleep with the right people, she's lauded by critics as some sort of postmodern feminist deity. She can't sing a lick, her guitar playing is laughable, and her dancing consists of posing with her leg behind her head and twirling around. She's a joke, but she's laughing all the way to the bank because her fans have been stupid enough to buy into her crap for more than two decades.

How'd you come up with the name "Overrated"?
Because that's exactly what she is.
